MARE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The public company MARE supports the regional government of Cantabria in a range of environmental tasks, mainly focused on water, waste and energy management.<\/p>\n

MARE is responsible for water integral cycle management, including the capture, storage, and distribution of water for both domestic and industrial uses, as well as the purification and sanitation of wastewater.<\/p>\n

It is also responsible of the collection, recycling, treatment and energy valorisation of urban solid wastes. <\/p>\n

Moreover, MARE fosters social awareness, environmental education and good ecological practices among society, and works and promotes actions aimed at maintaining the natural environment in the territory.<\/p>\n
