INTERNATIONAL LAUNCH EVENT OF THE INTERREG SUDOE KET4F-Gas PROJECT

KET4F-Gas is a European project co-funded by the Interreg Sudoe Programme through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with a funding of 1.7 million euros.

In the current context of persistent drought in the Southwestern regions of Europe (SUDOE area), which are experiencing more and more difficult fire events related to prolonged periods of drought and high winds, research on alternatives that contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is of the highest priority. The main objective of KET4F-Gas is to Reduction of the Environmental Impact of Fluorinated Gases in the Sudoe space using Key Enabling Technologies.

The Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT NOVA), of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, is pleased to invite you to the International Launch Event of the KET4F-Gas Project, on June 11th at FCT NOVA, Campus of Caparica.

During the event, the objectives, activities and expected results of the project will be presented. Additionally, regional and national authorities of the Sudoe area will highlight the challenges of the Southwestern European countries relatively to the emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases, as well as, prominent members of academia and industry, that will analyze the current scenario regarding waste management and sustainable development in Southwestern Europe.

Finally, we invite you to participate in the Networking Cocktail, in which you can share experiences and knowledge on a topic of upmost relevance for all the European regions, together with the project partners and others participants of the event, such as, SME’s, waste managers, public administration.
